This doll was inspired by a portrait of the young Maria Antonia, archduchess of Austria, later known as Marie Antoinette.  The doll is my original face and body, dress is made of silk, laces and antique silver metallic lace also used on the slippers to create the illusion of glass.  She wears a laced ribbon around her neck and pearls decorate her viscose blond hair.
